Wildcat boys seek another NCC golf title, return to state

HUMBOLDT – Humboldt’s veteran boys golf coach Scott Birdsell is cautiously optimistic.
The Wildcats enter the new season coming off a ninth-place finish at the Class 3A state tournament last May. Humboldt also won the North Central Conference dual and tournament titles last year.
In fact, Humboldt hasn’t lost an NCC dual meet since the 2022 season.
hile Humboldt returns three lettermen in seniors Cyler Cirks and Parker Sleiter, along with sophomore standout Cade Birdsell, they’ll be looking to replace departed seniors in Carson Arndt and Carson Sleiter. Arndt was the conference champion in 2024.
