Humboldt junior centerfielder Claire Dieleman was named second-team all-state in Class 3A by the Iowa Girls Softball Coaches Association.
Dieleman, one of the top hitters in the North Central Conference, batted .456 to lead the team and drove in 12 runs. She had an impressive on-base percentage of .989 and a slugging percentage of .476. Dieleman stole 16 bases on 17 attempts and in the field she had just three errors all season.
