SHARON A. SAVERY

Sharon Ann (Bowe) Savery, 78, of Rolfe, passed away on May 3, 2026, at her home on the family farm north of Rolfe.
Sharon was born on June 4, 1947, in Chippewa Falls, WI. She graduated from Arrowhead High School in Pewaukee in 1966.
During her senior year, while working at a local bowling alley, Sharon met Don Savery. She would later say she knew he was the one the moment they locked eyes and she saw his piercing baby blues. The two were married on April 8, 1967, in Hartland, WI, beginning a life together that spanned nearly six decades.
Early in their marriage, Sharon and Don lived in Texas City, TX, before returning to Wisconsin and eventually settling in Rolfe. They made their home on Don’s childhood farm, where they lived for the rest of their lives.
Sharon was a devoted wife to Don and mother to Dan and Mary Ann. In her early years of marriage, she stayed home to raise the kids while helping tend to the farm. Later, she went back to work in restaurants, at a grocery store, and eventually at Pronto, where she served as manager until retiring.
Outside of work, Sharon had a lifelong love of bowling and spent many years in local leagues, earning numerous team and individual trophies. She remained active in the sport until her early 60s. She also loved to bake and often made cakes for graduations, birthdays, and weddings for family and friends. She liked playing cards, gardening, and watching birds, and especially looked forward to the Bowe family reunions. In later years, she enjoyed Bible study, coffee with friends at the Rolfe Public Library, and jigsaw puzzles.
She was a devoted Catholic and loyal Green Bay Packers fan.
To those closest to her, she was stubborn, brave, and deeply protective of her family. On one occasion, she ran toward a charging cow to pull her young son out of harm’s way.
Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, Sawyer and Sydney, who were the light of her life.
Sharon is survived by her children, Dan (Jen) Savery and Mary Ann Savery (Mo McCarthy); her grandchildren, Sawyer and Sydney; her brothers, Dave (DeeDee) Bowe, Bob (DeeDee) Bowe, and Gary Bowe; and her sister, Judy (Dan) Vollriede.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; parents Robert and Delores (Wolfe) Bowe; sister Sandy Thibault; infant brother Charles; and in-laws Edmund and Isabel Savery.
Sharon will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the way she showed up for others.
Prayer Service was held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Powers Funeral Home in Rolfe. Deacon Bruce Helleseth officiated. Burial took place in Old Rolfe Cemetery near Rolfe. Powers Funeral Home of Rolfe, handled the arrangements.
