LOIS JEAN HALE

Lois Jean Hale, 94, of Dakota City, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital in Humboldt.
Lois was born July 31, 1931, the daughter of Sabin and Bertha (Kassel) Campbell in Denison. Lois worked as a cook at KFC and various other restaurants. She enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to music and dancing.
She is survived by her children; Rod (Mary) Hutchinson of Dakota City, Kenny (Diane) Hutchinson of Sioux City, Darla Chase of Algona, MaLinda (Doug) Davis of Humboldt and Cindy (Dan) Jacobs of Humboldt, grandchildren; Rod Hutchinson, Angela (Barrin) Hanson, Theresa (Adrian) Rubio, Darla Hutchinson, Shannon (Pete) Carlson, Becky Chase, Brandy Chase, Melissa and Amy Hutchinson, Kristy Hutchinson, Sarah Davis, Crystal and Dylan Short, Sonya and Jerry Davis and many more great-grandchildren, her sisters, Catherine Anderson and Viola Brown. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Hale and Eugene Hutchinson, son Frank, daughter Barbara Cole, three grandchildren, Joey and Michael Stoddard and Tina Hutchinson, brothers, Charles, Leonard and Leslie Campbell, sisters, Leona and Alice, and niece Diane Varner.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23rd at Union Cemetery in Humboldt. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. with prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt. www.masonlindhart.com
