Softball postseason brackets released; Humboldt slotted in Class 3A Region 6

The 2026 Iowa high school softball postseason begins July 6, with regional tournaments running through early July, culminating in the IGHSAU State Tournament at the Harlan and Hazel Rogers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge which will begin on July 20.
The Humboldt Wildcats have been placed in Class 3A Region 6 and will open their postseason run against Estherville Lincoln Central on July 9 at 7 p.m. at Humboldt High School.
