CHARLES C. STREIT

Charles “Chuck” Streit, 72 of Livermore, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at his home. A memorial Service was held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Oak Hill Church in Humboldt. Charles Cletus Streit, the son of Cletus Peter and Anna Marie (Berte) Streit, was born on Aug. 24, 1953 in Algona. Chuck graduated with the class of 1971. He enlisted with the United States Air Force in September of 1971 and was honorably discharged in July of 1975. On Oct. 21, 1973, Chuck was united in marriage to Pansy Duncan in Rantoul, IL. After his honorable discharge, Chuck enrolled at Iowa Central Community College. He worked for Sande Construction as a Superintendent until his retirement in 2018.
Chuck enjoyed hunting and gun collecting and watching his grandkids participate in activities.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pansy of Livermore; children, Gary (Susan) Streit of Bode and Judy (Ryan) Fredin of Dakota City; five grandchildren; Tanner, Wyatt (Bae), Haylee, Wes and Caden one great grandchild Carolina; siblings, Ruth Ann (Sid) Simonsen of Whittemore, Jean (Joe) Mikes of West Bend, Linda (Gary) Carney of Cedar Falls, George (Kelly) Streit of Bode, Donald (Sandy) VonBank of Bode, Delores (Ed) Beisch of Fenton and Karen Cunningham of Baxter and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus and Anna Streit.
