HHS girls post 41-shot victory

HUMBOLDT – Humboldt's varsity girls' golf team posted a 41-shot victory Tuesday night (April 23) at Webster City, shooting a 193 total. Host Webster City was second with 234 and Iowa Falls-Alden tallied 235.Savannah Schnetzer and Caitlin Kohlhaas were meet medalists in shooting a 42 and 47, respectively, to pace Humboldt. Ashley Samuelson shot 51 and Shelby Shepard 53. Humboldt's junior varsity shot a 222 to take top honors as they were led by Dani Stalpes with 54 and Melanie Vote with 55.On Friday, April 26 at Fort Dodge, Humboldt placed third among four schools in a conference quad at Lakeside Golf Course. The Wildcats totaled 198. Clear Lake won with 184 and Algona Bishop Garrigan was second at 193. St. Edmond shot 211. Savannah Schnetzer shot a 48 to pace HHS.
