Swimmers secure top finishes

The Fort Dodge High swim team, which has six squad members from Humboldt High School, defeated Des Moines North last week (Sept. 5) and fell to Waukee earlier this week (Sept. 10).Against Waukee, Amanda Schaffer was first in the diving competition. Shay Saathoff was on the second-place medley relay team.Against Des Moines North, Saathoff, Nehring, Allison Boswell, Jenifer Bentz, Schaffer and Holly Stockdale each had at least one first-place finish to their credit. The swimmers travel to Ames on Sept. 14 and 17 for meets.
