Late field goal lifts Humboldt past Greene County, 28-27

Austin Zylstra kicked a 23-yard field goal with 3:11 left on the clock to lift the Humboldt High football team to a 28-27 victory over Greene County on Friday (Oct. 3) in Class 3A District 2 play at Jefferson. Humboldt moved to 5-1 overall on the season, 3-1 in district play with the victory. The Wildcats host Webster City on Oct. 10. See complete story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
