Wildcat girls go 1-2 in Boone volleyball quad

Humboldt's varsity volleyball team went 1-2 in three matches in the Boone quad on Oct. 21 in Boone. The Wildcats lost to No. 10 Boone (20-25, 25-27), Dallas Center-Grimes (25-17, 8-25, 12-15) and defeated Pocahontas Area (25-17, 25-19). Humboldt is now 21-8 overall. The Wildcats will wrap up their regular season at home on Thursday, Oct. 23 at home when they host Iowa Falls-Alden in a key conference showdown with the Cadets.Humboldt will host Webster City in a first round Class 4A regional tournament match on Monday, Oct. 27, 7 p.m.See complete story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
